The Yorkiepoo, also called a Yorkiedoodle or a Yo-Yopoo, is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Yorkshire Terrier and the Poodle. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. This hybrid cross is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club as the Yorkie-Poo.

Personality

The Yorkie Poo could be one of the best small dogs to get. They have a wonderful personality which includes:

• Protective Friendly
• You are their world, they are happiest sitting on your lap or laying next to you.
• Loves to play but yet loves to be calm, good mix of both.
• Enough spunk to exercise with you (running).
• Very smart. Poodles are one of the most intelligent dogs.

Physical Characteristic

Small, about 4 to 12 pounds.

Doesn't shed much and hair is usually short and not noticeable.

Strong, able to exercise with you (running for example).

Cute as can be.

Great for apartments and as an indoor dog.
